Hauled the 110’ “Privateer IV” (Ex Super Ranger V) on the Syncrolift this morning. Built by Gulf Craft in Mayport, Fl. In 1988, she’s owned and operated by @7seaswhalewatch in Gloucester Ma. Originally powered by triple 1271-TA Detroit Diesels, she was repowered a few years ago with 14 Liter 60’s Series Detroit Diesels. The 60’s series is an Inline 6 Diesel that is super common in over the road trucks, like the 3406, but not commonly found in a Marine Version. They’ve had nothing but good luck with them in the “Privateer IV” and I’ve always been a big fan of the 60’s series  platform.  Also, check out those nice new wheels made by @accutechmarine !!!
